To visit this province is to journey back in time and encounter some of Vietnam’s most rugged and grand landscapes as Ma pi leng pass, Heaven gate, Tu San Canyon… Ha Giang is best experienced as a road trip on two wheels, soaking up the majesty of the landscape and the atmosphere of remote towns and minority villages.

8:30 am in the morning your local guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Ha Giang. Pack your knee/elbow pads and helmet before jumping on board your motorbike - easyrider. You’ll start by heading over Bac Sum Pass to the Heaven’s Gate, where you can admire the beautiful scenery of the twin mountains and the town of Tam Son (Quan Ba Distrist). Continue our trip we head to Yen Minh twon for lunch, then drive towards Dong Van, through the picturesque Tham Ma Pass. You’ll be wowed by the surrounding geo-heritage site called Dong Van Karst. The landscape is composed of endless rice terraces, thousands of limestone rocks and awe-inspiring views. This is also where you’ll get the first glimpse into the life of the local hill tribe people as they work on the surrounding land. Next, visit Hmong King’s Palace, the one-hundred-year-old palace of Vuong Chinh Duc – the King of H’mong people. Arrive in Dong Van homestay/Hotel for overnight in late afternoon, enjoy the local dinner and don’t skip to try the “Happy water” offered by the owner.
Aprox: 145km drivingAfter breakfast, we leave Dong Van Town to make our way to Chinese Border and Viet Nam’s North Pole in Lung Cu Village, immerse yourself with beautiful view of the chinese valley. From here, you are able to stand close as possible with China. Come back to Dong Van town where your lunch is severed in the local restaurant. In the afternoon, We forward to the “King” of mountain passes in Vietnam – the Ma Pi Leng Pass. It’s risen to fame because of its abrupt cliffs and breathtaking views with an altitude of 2,000m at its peak! After driving through the pass and stopping occasionally to soak in the best views and snap photos, you’ll have the opportunity to trek/drive on the Sky Path, which offers a 360° panorama of Ma Pi Leng Pass. We’ll continue to drive through the rustic villages of Meo Vac. Check in the hotel in the late afternoon – dinner will be severed in the local restaurant.

It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
